3average  Dec 12, 2008 By Clint Canal
Take a close look at the lenses on these sunglasses. The shade is light, so if you want to block a lot of light, they won't suffice. Also, I have had several pairs of polarized sunglasses in the past, and these do not compare. They seem like regular, unpolarized lenses. Finally, they are relatively small. However, you get what you pay for, and they are inexpensive and stylish.

4Nice for Time Spent Outdoors  Jun 07, 2009 By ~~Hummingbirder~~ "Call me hb"
Let me get this off my chest: I don't find these flattering. The frame shape doesn't suit my face.

But I wanted functional, practical sunglasses that would provide UV protection for my eyes. These do, and they do it well. They're helpful when I look down into the water. I can see what's just under the surface more clearly than without sunglasses, or with my other sunglasses (dark, but not polarized). I find no distortion at all.

They are very comfortable as well. I've worn them for hours on end with no discomfort or dent marks on my face. I just spent a week in sunny south Florida, the acid test, and they passed.

I wouldn't hesitate to buy X Loop products again. I hope I can find a pair that are more flattering for everyday, but for fishing, camping, birdwatching and other outdoor activities, these rock!

3Fine But No Better Than Cheaper Ones at Walmart  Jun 07, 2010 By Conspicuous Consumer "$$"
I compared these with a $9 pair of Polaroid glasses from Walmart and preferred the latter. They were equally dark and fit equally well (which was only adequate), but these glasses weren't as clear as the Walmart pair.

5Oakley Who?  Dec 20, 2011 By iieee
I've been a hardcore Oakley fan for over 15+ years. I live in the Upper Midwest where sun/snow glare is a hazard. I have medical issues that make my eyes extremely sensitive to light. Any glasses I choose MUST be ultra-lightweight, yet give full spectrum coverage that wraps around to include my peripheral vision. JiMarti glasses are 5+ stars. While the frame is not the exact quality of Oakleys, it is exceptional and saves me over $100 per pair. I bought TWO pairs for $25!! When a pair of Oakley's goes missing I can't afford to replace them. This happened not long ago and I went through hell trying to find a replacement on a budget. There are so many Fake Oakleys (Fauxkleys) out there that are still demanding near top dollar. I bought a "discount/close out" pair hoping they would be decent knockoffs and experienced minor damage to my eyes. The difference wearing the JiMarti glasses was night and day. The lens quality is immediately apparent. I will be back again and again. THANK YOU, JiMARTI!!

5Perfect shades for minimal price  Nov 22, 2011 By Torst
Bought these for cycling and use them all the time. Very comfortable and wrap around well to cut out bright sunlight. Highly recommend. Great value.
