I ordered these sunglasses for my 14 year old son for Christmas. I have a couple of Maui Jim's and he wanted a pair, too. No way was I going to get him a $200 pair of sunglasses that he might promptly lose! I found these for him and couldn't be more pleased. The arms have springs in them so they won't bend out of shape from putting them on and off. They are also polarized..the polarization is what I love so much about my own sunglasses since it really helps to cut out the glare! The dealer also sent a couple of free items with the sunglasses such as the microfiber case, 2 neckcords, and a cleaning cloth. VERY PLEASED...will definitely order these again...when he loses them!

It feels a little on the inexpensive side, but overall very good for the price. The lens quality seems very good and the fit comfortable.

Good Quality But Where's the Mirror Effect Dec 02, 2010

The glasses arrived promptly and appear to be very good quality. Very comfortable and look nice. Only three things to be aware of:
1) I would not say these have a "mirror" effect as they are described. You can see your eyes very easily through the glasses.
2) They not that large....meaning they do not really protect your eyes from sun around the sides.
3) Don't expect much in terms quality in the case. My bar was low for the price so I was not disappointed. I have another case I can use anyway.
None are big enough issues to return them, but just be aware.

I just received this pair of sunglasses today. Although the ad on Amazon said they were JiMarti sunglasses, the only marking that identified the sunglasses was a bit of print on the left arm: "28869PL".
Try googling that number. Check out the pictures of the products you find, and compare them to the one listed here on Amazon, being sold by JiMarti.
You'll find, like I did, that this pair of sunglasses is NOT manufactured by JiMarti, but is a generic pair of sunglasses that sells wholesale on tons of other sites for $54 per dozen... or $4.50 apiece.
This might not be a scam (it might just be an overpriced pair of sunglasses) if JiMarti makes no claim to be anything other than a distributor of generic sunglasses.
I, however, had the impression that they made their own glasses, or were otherwise responsible for the quality of the sunglasses they sold. And since I had heard good things about the brand, I bought them.
I'm feeling a little deceived now, knowing that JiMarti just bought someone else's sunglasses and re-marketed them for nearly 6 times their wholesale price!
NOTE: There isn't anything I can see that's wrong with the sunglasses I received. But I'm no expert, and have no ability to gauge the UV protection or any other feature of the lenses... and I'm less than certain of the quality of these sunglasses now that I know more about where they came from.

5/9/2012 Update: I emailed JiMarti that I was concerned about having received a generic pair of sunglasses, and received the following email in response:
"
That is possible. We had an entire container load come in before
Christmas without the jiMarti logo, and instead had another company's
markings. We decided to keep them, when we were assured that the quality
met the jimarti specs, but was a printing error. You must have received
one of these itemsŠ.I guess.
Normally, we could issue a refund to you, but if the order was an Amazon
FBA order we are not allowed to do that.
We would be more than happy if you went to jimarti.com and picked a pair
you like and we can send them NC. OK?
Let me know, because we want you to be happy!!

Although I wish I hadn't gotten a generic pair of sunglasses to begin with, I am impressed with this offer. I'll send another update once I've picked out a pair and received it. Changing my rating from 2 stars to 3 stars.
