Not sturdy, feels like it's easily broken Apr 05, 2010
I bought these (the white one) because it was cheap and looked sturdy from the picture. If you're looking for a solid pair of sunglasses, I wouldn't recommend these. I bought this pair for refereeing soccer games, so I guess they'd work for that. I haven't used sunglasses before, so maybe I was expected something different. I thought the lenses would be held tightly by the frame, but the construction makes it so that the lenses have some wiggle-room (like 1mm). This allows me to "wiggle" the lenses around, making a rattling sound. Also, the material seems brittle. If I'm going to buy another pair of sunglasses, I'm definitely going to buy something that's sturdier. Another peeve I have about this pair of glasses is that the bridge has two pointy parts that stick out a bit. It's hard to tell from the picture, so I thought the bridge was smooth. I don't like the look. Also, the parts that bend around the ear have 3 "dots" that I suppose are for grip, but are on the outside(?). Anyway, they don't make the glasses look any better. Lastly, they don't fold well (really bulky). If I were to choose, I wouldn't buy these again.
